Why does truman feel the act is radical and not “moderate,” as some in congress claim?

Truman feels that the act is radical and not "moderate" because it would take away the power of the unions. Truman also states that the bill is radical because it would weaken labor unions by removing their bargaining power. He feels that it gives too much power to employers as it granted the ability for the restrict the activities and power of the labor union.
