Both leaders came into power through military coups. 

Under their regime, their countries flourished. Local industries boomed resulting to a very healthy economy. 

Under Park Chung Hee, South Korea became the 11th most successful economies in the world. 

Under Ernesto Geisel, Brazil's mining, agriculture, and transportation networks were developed and flourished. 

Both leaders led their countries into industrialization but only Brazil enjoyed its long term benefits.
