I believe you mean what are the American political parties and their ideas about government. The parties are the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. The republicans prefer hands off economics from the government where as the Democrats prefer hands on economics. The republicans prefer hands on social policies where as the Democrats prefer hands off social policies
