When European imperialism went to the other continents what started to happend is the conquering of different countries and nations, the main problem with this was that under the european influence and power people was unified under a more powerful nation, when the european nations power started to fade away, the way in which nations were divided started to change, this was because people often want to be organized in a nation by historical points in commo, culture shared and other attibutions, once they had their freedom, more often than not, they didn´t like with who they were made into a nation.
