How do i put "assault; aggravated" in a sentence?

I will not i assault anyone for u that how u put assault in a sentence hope this helps

She was assaulted, by the man in the dark coat. This action aggravated her father, to the point where he sought revenge. This, is the climax to our story.

I don't know how to explain exactly what I did, I just somehow made a sentence around these two words.
