This political cartoon shows that Prohibition was not very effective and it had negative consequences because it encouraged criminals to take advantage on this, profiting on the illegality of alcohol to their own interests, resulting into the creation of mafias and organized criminal groups.

that is because lower interest rates allowed people to work harder to make money. it multiplied like that and now the uno(not the game) is very strong.
