Skin color is due primarily to the presence of a pigment called melanin.The genetic mechanism behind human skin color is mainly regulated by the enzyme tyrosinase, which creates the color of the skin, eyes, and hair shades.

Adam and Eve were white with dark hair. Darker skin was obtained over time with being in the sun and genetics shifting farther and farther apart. Ham Noah's son was dark skin in complexion and a father to the generation of Ca'nnan. Genetics being strained leaves them vulnerable to the effect the sun has on the skin.

Adam and Eve were the First beings created as stated in the Bible. Created, was specified as they were Made as one of a kind. Nothing else has their features aside from God stating to Jesus, let us make man in our image.

They do not have a common ancestor according to Biblical knowledge, they were made separate from animals, animals being put in subjection to humans. Apes have complex features and genetic patterns that differ from humans and visa versa. Apes were eaten in the past, and were often found buried with human bones alongside.

Human knowledge was advanced enough to build a large temple a few years after Adam and Eve's death, the tower of Babel.  So, the theories that humans were first unintelligent and only used simple tools and lived in caves, are not supported in the Bible. And that apes are humans ancestors as well is debunked.
