"If you lived 2000 years ago I think it would be best to have a horse. You would easily be able to ride to the market to buy the other animals and lead them home. You could also ride it to faraway places and also to carry supplies to those places. You could sell the foals every year or so as well. A horse is also good for emergencies such as a snake bite. You could get to a doctor quicker if you rode a horse than if you rode a dozen chickens. A horse could also pull heavy machinery like a plow."

I would say a cow, bcuz in those times, where would u b trying to go...u wouldnt, but how would u get money? sell ,milk
