Why was the declaration of independence written?

July 4th, 1776 is the date when the declaration of independence was written

The Declaration of Independence was written to inform the Americas that is very important so therefore let it be known that the independence of Americans that we have now so forth and forever was put in Declaration of Independence which makes it important for us to know that we are important as a people women and men gay and lesbian all those are  important to America.
