Since the people were already desperate to escape the suffering and chaos that engulfed their country due to the signing of this treaty, it led many of them to support Hitler’s cause because they believed only he could help make Germany great again. That is why it’s said that the Treaty of Versailles was “failed” and “doomed from the start”.
