In the earliest days of Christianity, there was a young man named Saul who was a violent enemy of the new faith. What happened to him? 1. He became the Jewish high priest and promoted peace, eventually signing a treaty between Jews, Christians, and Romans.

2. He was killed by a Christian mob, when he tried to arrest their leader.

3. He dramatically and suddenly converted to Christianity, and many of his letters became part of the New Testament.

4. He remained a strong enemy of the early Christians, and was hired by Nero to persecute them.
