I think he was a very successful president. FDR had many accomplishments, but his most important one was the New Deal. The New Deal helped people recover from The Great Depression by getting them jobs.

He may have done more during those twelve years to change American society and politics than any of his predecessors in the White House, save Abraham Lincoln.
