Paragraph #1--Explain the characteristics, behaviors, and types of actions that you believe make a "good, proper or strong" president for our country. Since your lectures and reading are loaded with Presidential history, pick three different presidents. Identify a decision or action for each one that you support or believe was good, proper, or strong. (You may only use the Presidents covered in the content of this course up to our current chapter in The American Yawp. Select things that these presidents did as presidents or while in office.) Paragraph #2-Now, explain the characteristics, behaviors, and personality traits that you believe make for a "weak, wrong or improper" president. Be specific. Then, identify a decision or action for the same, three presidents used in the first paragraph and identify and discuss a decision those presidents made that were weak, wrong or improper. (You may only use the Presidents covered in the content of this course up to our current chapter in The American Yawp. Select things that these presidents did as presidents or while in office.)
Paragraph #3-Then, come to the present. Identify and explain two Presidential actions or decisions from your current president that you support or consider good, proper or strong and two, Presidential decisions from your current president that you consider wrong, improper, or weak. Be specific. Personalities are not actions. However, personalities may drive actions?!
For all of these, be sure to explain WHY!! What is behind your thinking and reasoning (hopefully, there is some historical evidence). Be specific in your examples and evidence.
