How did the two sides in the american revolution differ?

Well, it was the British Army and the Patriots, and the British Soldiers were trying to make it where the colonies didn't succeed, and the American Patriots were trying to succeed.

Primary sources are usually  more accurate and are written by someone who experienced it or witnessed it. secondary sources are those who heard of it after the fact that can lose details and or twist the event in a light that benefits them.
