The American Civil War ended in May 9, 1865, with the win going to the Union Forces. Yet, there are many statues, buildings, streets and monuments dedicated to the Confederacy. Over the recent years there has been a large debate
whether or not to tear down the statues or leave them up, or find new alternatives. For this option, I would like you to
tell me your opinion on whether they should be torn down or left up. Record yourself for 3-5 minutes giving YOUR
opinion, I would like you to give historical knowledge to help support your claim, below are some articles and videos to
help you have a better knowledge about the monuments. USE I STATEMENTS please!
