Why do you think that people that wanted to abolish slavery were upset with Lincoln's inaugural address?

The reason slavery was abolished was as a result of the Civil War, but the reason why the Civil War started was not neccesarily as a result of the slavery. The intentions behind the Civil War was to depower the South, what I mean by this is that the Souths economy was growing expeditiously due to free labour (forced work of black Slaves).
