No the Europeans did not treat Africans fairly because of a event called the slave trade. This was Europeans buying and selling Africans for use of slavery. They were beat and starved and they wear given the worst conditions and if they were not strong enough they would get killed

During the slave trade europeans saw african slaves as cargo traded for profit, not people. In result slaves were stuffed and piled in uninhabitable spaces below deck where they dedicated and slept in the same place. Food and water were scarce, death and disease were high.

This proves that Europeans did not treat the Africans fairly.
