Explain why Jesus could of been a rebel?

Not to the extent that some folks seem to think. He did not attack, either verbally or physically, the existing power structures of his day. He did not condemn the Roman occupation or castigate the Sanhedrin for their corruption or for their exploitation of the People (not that they were guilty of those things in the first place). He didn’t even condemn the Herodian dynasty, despite the fact the murder of John the Baptist at the hands of Herod Antipas was apparently one of the major catalysts in the ministry of Jesus. He rarely engaged in any kind of social or political commentary outside of encouraging voluntary charitable giving.
