Using the Declaration of Sentiments and The Declaration of Independence as models, write your own declaration based on a topic of your choosing.
Write the first draft of your declaration. Then, read it aloud while timing it. Edit repetitive areas if it is too long or add
more evidence by expanding and explaining your reasons where appropriate if it is too short. Your declaration should
be between three to four minutes in length, or approximately 600-800 words.
