The Egyptians used hieroglyphics to establish societal norms through the Book of the Dead. The Book of the Dead was a book placed inside of tombs to tell the story of the deceased pharaoh or noble. It was expected that dead pharaohs and nobles have these within their coffins. Identify and explain how ONE specific historical development prior to 600 BCE could be used to support the undermining of women. In the agricultural revolution women began to take care of kids and prepare food, while men would hunt or farm. As time went on Farming was seen as more important, thus birthing male dominant societies. It is a common fact that those with more important jobs are seen as more important in a society.
