Why did the Enclosure Act forces families to find work in factories?

Because families were used to working together. And the boss, instead of paying individual wages, payed the family one big wage. Women only earned half as much as men, and children earned about a quarter. So hiring the family is a lot cheaper than hiring individuals (men mostly). This way, the factory owner saves money.
