Summarize three Hardships African-American soldier had to endure to serve in the Union army

African Americans had to do the jobs no one really wanted to like digging trenches. They also were seen as not equal to other regiments so they were handed inferior equipment. They didn’t get the same medical equipment others had. They also got paid less then white soldiers.
