In the early 1700 's, the native America was colonized by the French and then the British came as traders but later colonized their lands and tries to take power in their hands.

During 1700s, France and Britain were the leading European powers. The Native Americans became friends with the French. The French had many allies with the native Americans. The British were more hunger for the lands and the native Americans distrust the British. The French were more interested in further trading with native american people. The French traders  also married the native American women and their missionaries converted many people of Native America into Catholicism.
