Explanation:

The French and Indian war was a battle between the Great Britain and France. But both sides recruited several natives American tribes to assist them during the war.( But France got more support from the native Americans than Britain).

The War cost Great Britain a lot of money. To the point where they started accumulating debt from the war. In order to pay off this debt, the British government need to increase their revenue. So, decided to increase the amount of tax that should be paid by the colonists.
