Being a friendly person works better some places than in others. I live in a small rural town. When I pass people on the sidewalk in my town, I always speak to them; even when I don't know them. Last fall, I went to a big city and tried to say hello to everyone I met on the sidewalk. That didn't work out well for me at all. After the first few minutes, I realized there was no way I could speak
to every person I met there were simply too many of them. Some of them spoke back to me, and they were all real nice, but I felt like some kind of alien from another planet.
Using two or more sentences, write a conclusion for the paragraph. Include an outcome to the situation and a lesson the narrator learned from the experience.
