Within these civilizations, you learned about different types of governments that were created to rule over people and lands. Identify some of the different types of governments that you learned about and the civilization with which they were associated. Compare and contrast these different governments, using facts from the lessons. Next, imagine that you are a leader of a new civilization in this region. Which type of government would you have supported in your kingdom or empire? Why?
