         She was one of the women who went to court to fight for her case after being accused of witchcraft. She went to Court because she was not doing witchcraft, and she and her family were trying to prove it.

          Samuel Parris was a reverend, and he thought that witchcraft was not a thing. His new role was a subject of debate because he was debating and arguing for the people accused.
