Help pls How did the plantation system contribute to greater agricultural production in South Carolina?
Reduced restrictions for slaves led to greater productivity on large plantations.
Plantations focused on only one product, making it easier to produce large
quantities.
With most necessities on site, the self-sufficiency of plantations led to increased
production.
As the need for cotton grew, slaves were forced to work through the night, to
meet demand.
