Your assignment is to create a map of the Roman Empire, from the time the city of Rome was founded through the fall of the Roman Empire (753 B. C. – 476 A. D.)

You will need to find a blank map image online which shows Europe and North Africa in order to complete this project.

Include the following on your map:

Title the map with the time span covered
Provide a key, with colors representing each period and area conquered
Label the regional map to include continents, major cities, bodies of water, etc.
Be sure to show different shades or colors of the expanding areas
Create a scale, to show how vast the empire was
