100 points + Marking Brainliest: Can someone please help me with this? the major events during and after the American Revolution.
A mind map is a way to organize lots of information. It is a useful tool because it allows you to see the connections between many different things. In some ways, a mind map is like a tree, with a trunk at the center and many branches growing outward. However, in a mind map, the branches may go out in all directions. In addition, the branches in a mind map do not necessarily get smaller as they grow farther out from the trunk.
In the mind map you draw for this project, the American Revolution will be the trunk. It should appear in a box directly in the middle of your mind map. The two main branches of your mind map are, first, the war that preceded the Revolution, and, second, the government that followed it. At the top of the mind map, draw a box labeled “French and Indian War.” At the bottom, draw another box for “U. S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.”
Your completed mind map will be a visual representation of the multiple connections between the branches, the trunks, and each other.
This is a two-day project.
On day one, you will identify and explain causes and effects between the French and Indian War and the American Revolution.
In the top half of your mind map, draw boxes for these events that occurred between the French and Indian War and the American Revolution:
• End of Salutary Neglect
• Passage of the Stamp Act
• Charles Town Protests
• Boycotts
• The Boston Tea Party
• The Intolerable Acts
Now draw connecting lines.
• Each event should have a line down from the “French and Indian War” box along with a short written explanation of how that war helped cause the event.
• Each event should have a line up from the “American Revolution” box along with a short written explanation of how that war was in part an effect of the event.
• Each event should also connect to one or more of the other events along with short written explanations.
On day two, you will identify and explain causes and effects between the American Revolution and the government established by the U. S. Constitution.
To complete the bottom half of your mind map, draw boxes for these events that occurred between the beginning of the American Revolution in 1775 and the ratification of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights:
• Departure of Lord William Campbell
• Drafting of the Declaration of Independence
• The Battle of Cowpens
• Passage of the Articles of Confederation
• Shay’s Rebellion
Now draw connecting lines.
• Each event should have a line down from the “American Revolution” box along with a short written explanation of how that war helped cause the event.
• Each event should have a line up from the “U. S. Constitution and Bill of Rights” box along with a short written explanation of how the contents of those documents were affected by the event.
• Each event should also connect to one or more of the other events along with short written explanations.
