The fur trade. It affected people because it devloped the economy.

There were only positive effects for the fur trader, because they were making money. They didnt care about anybody else. This developed the economy because it gave fur to people, and it helped the rich fur traders to gain traction affecting the clothing industry massivley.

It was negative for the Native americans though. They were deprived of animals, that THEY used as food and FUR. They were always looked down apon, but now was a hard time for them. This developed the economy because the white people took over reas where old tribes died from lack of animal material. This is how the fur trade affected the natives, and the fur traders positively and negatively.
