It should be noted that the Magyars raised Central Europe, the Balkans, and Burgundy.

On the other hand, the Vikings were Scandinavians who explored Europe from the 8th century to the 11th century. It can be deduced that the Norwegian Vikings raided the west while the Swedish Vikings raided Eastern Europe.

The Muslim conquests began with the prophet in the 7th century. They conquered Northern Africa and the Middle East.

Lastly, the Vikings settled mostly in populated areas, the Magyars were known for founding new states and Muslims were vital in spreading their religions.

(a) Magyars

The Magyars emerged from Steppes of Eastern Europe, and around the 9th century, began to move west. They raided the Balkans, and Central Europe, including areas of Germany and Austria.

They were pushed back to modern day Hungary by Holy Roman Emperor Otto I, the land which they finally made their homeland.

(b) Vikings

The Vikings were Scandinavians who began to explore and raid many areas of Europe from the 8th century to the 11th century.

Norwegian and Dannish Vikings raided the west, and settled many areas: Eastern England (Danelaw), Northern France(Normandy), and founded the countries of Iceland and Greenland.

Swedish vikings settled eastern Europe, where they founded the city of Kiev, and the Kievan Rus', the ancestor to the modern Russian state.

(c) Muslims

Muslims came from Arabia, and in a century, conquered most of the Middle East, Northern Africa, and the Iberian Peninsula.

They conquered areas that had a long history of civilization: Mesopotamia, Egypt and the Levant. In fact, Baghdad, located very close to ancient Babylon, became the capital of the Muslim Empire.

3. What can you infer about these groups from the fact that they settled in regions raided?

The Muslims invaded areas that were civilized from millenia ago. They did not found as many cities, but grew existing ones like Baghdad, Alexandria and Jerusalem.

The Vikings settled some populated areas like England, but they mostly established new polities in previously unpopulated areas, like Iceland and the Faroe Island.

The Magyars also founded a new state: Hungary, and the vast majority of Hungarian cities and towns were founded from scratch by them.

both are true, the congress does have the power to create banks, even if this power is not specifically described in the constitution, since there is nothing restricting it and there is power given to the congress to make "all laws which shall be necessary and proper". maryland was not allowed to tax a branch of the national bank operating there, and the supreme court decided that no state could. both of these topics were discussed in a decision of the mcculloch v. maryland case in 1819.
