In the study of history, what is one major difference between a region and a
period?

A region refers to the geographical areas traditionally associated with a people, society or nation with specific features that are manifested in cultural elements of an area, especially the language and architecture, and with which its inhabitants identify during a historical time determined. On the other hand, the period is the chronological division used to tell and separate the historical time of humanity. The periodization is the study of the General History of Humanity that usually divides human history, by convention and exclusively for didactic purposes

the wants of children today than in colonial times are very different. as well as the roles. children now have electronics such as phones, tablets, tvs, etc. back then, kids didn’t have electronics. in the colonial times, children were expected to their parents in their work. but now, children are expected to go to school.
