Resolution? What effect might it
have on India's independence?

The Lahore resolution happened around March 1939. This resolution was brought up by the Muslim minorities in India. They were interested in forming an independent state of their own known as Pakistan.

The Muslim league became more influential in the Congress and held most of the seats available. This eventually led to the formation of Pakistan.
