Farmland tracks and railways contribute to one side's advantage in a war by providing the group with more supplies and food for them in war. Railroad tracks contributed to an advantage in a war by facilitating the transportation of many things to the battlefield, and trains could carry many tons, allowing people to obtain LOTS of supplies for the war. A train can carry things like food, equipment, armor, artillery, etc. This gives it a huge advantage aside because they can be easily stocked without being too much of a hassle. Farmland contributed to an advantage on one side of the war because it was an easy way to grow food for soldiers. Farmland could produce a lot of food, especially when you have a lot of land, and can be given to soldiers to prevent them from starving. Farmland was one of the ways that a group of people used in wars to produce food and not worry about not having enough food to feed soldiers.

since most of current immigration into the u.s., both legal and illegal, is coming from latin america. it would be very difficult to imagine or rationalize a country my fellow citizens are trying desperately to flee into, would pose a threat to my prosperity or freedom. since the u.s. has a long history of intervention, but no record of permanent occupation, i would not feel oppression is the main objective.  

the largest free trade nation, along with the largest gdp in the world wanting to expand it's economic policy on us, and including us, could only be positive. the u.s. government has no interest in, or way of simply forcing american culture on us. and has no track record of it. other nations that adopted american social culture, or "americanization" did so voluntarily, mainly through the choice of allowing american businesses and u.s. citizens to come into their nations, as free operatives.
