The U. S. military provides protection to every citizen of the United States, ensuring the nation is safe from foreign attacks and other dangers. Discuss the relationship between the duty of registering with the Selective Service and people's right to be protected by the U. S. government. Make sure your analysis is three to five sentences long and includes examples.
People who were in the selective service were automatically enrolled to go to war without their consent. Their freedom and their freedom of speech was taken away due to that action. The U. S. did not think about the citizens protection instead they worried more about the U. S protection. Their only duty is the United States entitling them to serve at all times without hesitation.
