TIMELINE - Empires

One of the key features of the time period 1200-1400 is the development of the state in different parts of the world; Islamic caliphates, medieval kingdoms in Europe, Chinese dynasties, African kingdoms, and new world empires in the Americas. Some of these empires are linked through trade (Africa and Asia, for example) and some are not yet in contact (pre-Columbian Americas).

Create a timeline of empires from 1200-1400. You may choose which to include (hint: see key terms above) and the dates can be approximations. (For example, Mali Empire 1230-1450). You should have at least 8 -10.

Please include the name and location of the empire Descriptions can be short.

Our goal here is to have a visual overview of the various forms of governments/civilizations across the world at this time.
