  Because of the temperance movement americans wouldn’t forsake alcohol entirely, but most temperance advocates remained willing to settle for reduced consumption. The education reform had led to state-sponsored public education, including a statewide curriculum and a local property tax to finance public education. The prison reform has also increased future employment for individuals who are incarcerated and decreasedthe rule violations in prison facilities. Finally the reform of women has majorly affected women in the modern society , women now have equal rights , the right to vote , and most equality in the workplace.

the answer to fill in the blank in this question would be the word resource, it is defined as the money, material or people (since human resource is a very valuable good) that a company or a person has at disposition (meaning they can use the resource as they see fit), to be able to complete a task or achieve a goal.
