From the year 1945 to this present period. There have been a lot of modification that have had a long-term and drastically changed the lives of every individuals all around the globe. An example would be the cold war and the implication of globalization. These two key events were just a few of the events that have influenced the world into what it Is like today.

The Cold war was a state of geopolitical anxiety following Wood War II between the powers In the Eastern Bloc and powers in the Western Bloc, it lasted for about 1947 to 1991, it ending with the collapse and split of the Soviet Union. This war was one mainly fought between the United State and the Soviet Union.

Globalization was one of the main factor that contributed Into shaping how the world is today. Globalization is the process of communication and integration between different people, companies and governments worldwide.

the french revolution main idea was to give power to the people. the revolution was influenced by the enlightenment ideas, reasoning and skepticism pushed people to revolt against standards and norms in french society.

the problem was that the revolution caused political turmoil, and napoleon saw this as an opportunity and launched a coup d’état in november 1799. he became the first consul of france and later named french emperor.

some people see napoleon as a hero of the revolution and others see him as a traitor.

people see him as a traitor because he noticed the political turmoil and used this moment to rise to power. others see him as a hero of the revolution because he had some political and military achievements - in which he was committed to promoting the achievements of the french revolution - he had extensive public constructions, made a civil reform.

in a bigger picture, napoleon had some huge achievements in france which made him very important, but the fact that he seized power to himself makes him an undeniable traitor to the revolution since the main idea of it was to remove people from power and give power to the people.

its main object was the establishment of "settlement houses" in poor urban areas, in which volunteer middle-class "settlement workers" would live, hoping to share knowledge and culture with, and alleviate the poverty of, their low-income neighbors.
