Describe the Socratic method and its origins. How does it differ from the scientific method?

Socratic method is the method coined after the great Greek,named Socrates - A philosopher. It is the method use in teaching students by asking many questions in a row in order to find solution to a problem. His method of learning leans toward the usage of reasoning,logic and critical thinking.

The scientific method is the processes whereby detailed scientific methods are follow like systematic experimentation, inductive and deductive reasoning,the formation and testing of hypotheses and theories and observations
