Which source is most sympathetic to Native Americans and why? Which source would be considered scientific according to today's standards and why?

When assessing data about native American tribal history and culture, a valid source of data has to be vetted properly due to many different organizations that  attempt to profit  and manipulate the information that is presented.  Understanding that  key is important as well as understanding that each tribe has its own history and culture.  For example,  What is written in United Sates history books has been recorded this will not be an accurate port rail of what actually happened to the Native American tribes.  When studying  Native American tribes there are museums, and cultural centers for each tribe that have different accounts of how each individual tribe has been treated by the United States government.  When assessing  internet sources, looking for  .net, .gov.  The tribal  websites and cultural museums would be the most sympathetic to Native Americans in the portal of their history.  Understanding that the majority of Native American  tribal history has not been written down it is mostly passed on verbally it can be difficult to  find data on their history.
