American solders coming back home from war faced the consequences of media and propaganda broadcasting what happened during the war. After witnessing the horrors media was portraying about the War, such as soldiers unnecessarily killing children and women in cold blood, many Americans became "anti-war" and manifested their opinions very strongly to the point of calling the soldiers "baby killers."
