What effects have the u. s.-cuba trade embargo have on the economies of both countries

The U.S.-Cuba trade embargo has had a greater impact on Cuba than on the United States. Cuba relied on the U.S. for much of its commerce. The Cuban people have suffered from this embargo because they are unable to purchase modern goods, including cars, telephones, and televisions. Because of the size of the U.S., the U.S. economy was not affected by the trade embargo between the two nations. The trade embargo did affect diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Cuba, however, disrupting communication between the two countries. In fact, the U.S. and Cuba were forced to communicate with one another through Switzerland.

monarchy doesn’t have to have the hereditary element. there have been elective monarchies in the past where you choose your king-for-life and when he dies elect someone else for the job.
