Write a short paragraph (100-150 words) that describes the seven characteristics of empires

Empires were very large, so they needed strong governments. Usually the government consisted of a strong leader, an emperor, who had complete power. The emperor typically ruled from the capital city which was located in the heartland or "center" of the empire. He appointed governors of to rule and manage the different provinces, but they were under the emperor's control.

1 Strong central government empires were usually large so they needed a big government to run them.

2 Bureaucracy non elected government workers.

3 Global trade they had multiple trade routes to and from other empires and therefore received things and gave things they couldn't acquire.

4 standardized currency they had there own form of currency that may have not worked outside of the empire but could be used to acquire trade items for other forms of currency.

5 Ethnic diversity slaves of different colors and sometimes workers were usually paid but less than the average folk person and there may have been more than 2 races.

6 Expansionism they were always looking to grow there land and control as much as possible because the more land more power more money more people more sources and a better and stronger kingdom.

7 Centralized leadership there was often a inner circle of higer government officials.

as a member of congress, i would have voted to ratify the constitution, or at least to have it tabled. ignoring it was an interested and partial decision.
