The push factors are those factors that would cause persons to move away from their homes. The pull factors are those factors that pull people to a new place.

The push factors that made the British to leave their country was due to the religious restrictions that they had. They wanted to be free from the laws that they faced.

The pull factors that relates to the English colonizers were the new opportunities that were present in the Americas. They wanted to harness these potentials and take them back home to their countries.

Another pull factor that they had was for them to have control of new territories.
