Who was james ii and what did he want

He was the last stuart monarch. Ruled through 1633-1701. He got rid of parliament and replaced it with all ppl that would actually support him. he was considered an absolute ruler.

so the story tells of someone named kaushik choudhuri, but he does not narrate the story, a girl named hema does. hema tells the story in a second person point of view because you (the reader) are supposed to be the boy named kaushik.
