The role and status of women in indian society.

The Raymayana is an poem produced from Indian literature that tells of a woman named Sita who is to be perfect adaptation of how a wife is supposed to be. She is kind, compassionate, beautiful, and obedient most of all. The love she has for her husband is unyielding and a very prominent - almost controversial key part in the story.
