How is a responsibility different from a duty?

The duty can be defined as a legal or moral obligation, usually connected with the job requirements. The basic difference between the two comes to be that the responsibility is not something that is a must do, it should be done, but that depends on the person. The duty, on the other hand, is a must do, and the individual has a direct order from a superior to do so.
