How did the agricultural revolution and subsequent industrial revolution changed the way people lived and worked?

The Agricultural Revolution (during the Neolithic Age) specialized labor and established sedentary communities where people could build up societies in a centralized area. As religion spread into these societies, it taught people the way to live as well (even if it meant social status systems with patriarchal dominance). The Industrial Revolution (Modern Era) started to urbanize large cities. More people came from farms to the cities in order to work in factories. People worked in horrible conditions which led to the establishment of labor unions to help remedy the way people worked. Both revolutions led to the population growth in centralized areas and they would ultimately dictate how one was able to work, either on farm or factory. Both revolutions would count on one another for continued success.
