Explanation:  The hippies subculture, which can be said to be a movement, was a characteristic of the second half of the 1960's. It grew out of the rebellion and the desire of young people for personal freedom, based on popular rock music with the elements of Eastern religions. The typical hippies look was long hair, unconventional appearance and behavior, with the rejection of everything that came as an established model of behavior. Consuming hallucinogenic drugs, the spiritual experiences encouraged by these drugs and elements of Eastern religions, life in communes and in nature leaving home and wandering, was some sort of lifestyle. The basic motives for this were love, freedom, peace, tolerance, antiwar attitude. Hippies were very active in anti-war protests during the Vietnam War.

monarchy doesn’t have to have the hereditary element. there have been elective monarchies in the past where you choose your king-for-life and when he dies elect someone else for the job.
